All those students of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) whose semester result card or provisional transcript is written * FER1 and ** FER2, it means that the student’s examination paper is failed, and for these papers students have to re-register as Reappear.
Reappear means
- The students will only again give the examination papers for these failed courses or In reappear you only have to give paper.
* FER1
- FER-1 means: Student has failed first time in someone’s exam paper so Reappear Chance is 1st.
** FER2
- FER-2 means: The student has failed again in the examination paper of a course, so he has got Reappear Chance 2nd.
Zero (O) or Fail
- If in the result of a student, Fail is written in front of a course, it means that the student has failed completely in that course. Student has to Re-enroll for this course and repeat all course components, like assignments, workshops, and examination paper.
